Hey everyone!!!! I am SO confused right now. Please help me get this straight. If you don't burn all the calories you eat do you gain weight???? If you burn all the calories in your body do you maintain weight? or what?

eat less than you burn, you lose weight, eat more than you burn, gain weight, and eat the same amount as you burn, you will maintain weight. SO yes you are correct with that, but remember, we burn calories throughout the day, like breathing is burning calories, not alot, but you should never eat less than 1200 calories a day. A good way to know that you are eating enough, and not too much is by eating only when you are hungry and you should never leave the table full. You should just feel satisfied, that the hunger has gone away. Hope I answered your question.

no I dont think so... there is 3,500 calories in 1 pound so if you burn 3,500 calories u lose 1 pound. (that is like over the corse of a week or a few days not one day!) I hope that helps that is all i know lol it didnt really answer your question though
