FOR ALL OF YOU PEOPLE WHO THINK DOING LIKE 500 CRUNCHES IS THE ONLY WAY TO GET A SIX-PACK! I just read this article, and it says that doing any more than 2 or 3 sets of 20 crunches every OTHER day is overdoing it and actually making your stomach worse. It fatigues your muscles so much that they can't repair themselves in time. They spend so much time trying to repair themselves that they're not becoming stronger.

yeah- i just read you're only supposed to do 60 moves for your abs in Fitness magazine today

Mucles usually take 24 hours to heal themselves, so every-other-day is what you're supposed to do. You can also try protein shakes or amino acid pills to repair the mucles very quickly. If you only do 20 crunches every other day, but your body can handle 50 every day... then do 50, if thats what works. Everyone is different.

and also you will only be building the muscle which would be under the layers of fat so that why you need to diet aswell as exercise and you will lose the body fat and then you can start to see the muscles
