last week i started lifting weights.my friend told me when you lift if you have fat over the muscle you will not be able to see the muscle and it will just make you look fatter . is this true and if it is what shud i do to get a good body

muscle helps to burn fat to, and lifting burns cals, makes u lose weight, doctors say lifting is like the best thing u can do, so keep at it

Not true at all! Lifting takes away fat. But to make it really noticable, you should loose weight by running/walking/eliptical and lifting.
