I thought I was really goin to lose the weight this time, but now I'm slipping into my old habits of letting snacking and little things ruin my good eating days. I exercise around 5 times a week and I eat well, but sometimes I just eat more than I'm supposed to, or I snack, and it ruins my ENTIRE WEEK! You would think that would motivate me to just crack down but I can't. I have struggled with this for so long and I jus got back from my aunts house and it looks like I've gained like 2 more pounds. I'm so sad and frustrated, I just feel like I can't do this before summer. Another summer of not wearing a two-piece and feeling self-conscious. WHAT CAN I DO TO BREAK OUT OF THIS RUT??!! (it's definitely a mental thing, because i know HOW to lose the weight, it's just DOING it that's the trouble)

hey kels that is a great idea! i think i might start doing that! but yeah I know what you mean. This week I swore to myself that i was going to stick with it so i could lose 2 pounds a week and make my final goal in August! but guess what? i gave into temptation and had a donut and a bowl of cereal after school, o yeah and i had a candy bar during school!!!!!..but if you ever screw up..dont say "o ill start again next week", start over right when you screw up! good luck

i know what you mean, its a mind game u play with your self, after u eat one snack u feel guilty, then you eat another to make yourself feel better, and next thing you know ur saying to urself "o, i'll get back on the diet next week" then the same cycle starts again. dont let yourself do that! incorporate snacks you love like ice cream, chips, or whatever into your daily calories. one thing i find helpful - when u buy ice cream, buy individual treats, so you dont make your scoop bigger than you should. and when i buy junk, like chips, or crackers, or candy, i package them into snack bags in 100 cal servings (kinda like my own 100 cal pack) so i dont grab out huge handfuls

JUST SAY NO! just say no. you can do it- it's for you afterall! just remind yourself how important it is to you. you can do it- you really can. we both can- we can get out of this stupid rut that we're putting ourselves into!!!
