i think its a bad idea... i mean, some times you need some slack of course, so grab a few cookies or something, or eat out, healthy style but dont count. But dont think of it as a day where you are just giving in! Cuz then you will just keep eating and eating! And maybe your diet is too strict, give yourself a little treat on a daily basis so you dont freak out and give in all at once!

i think that if its planned then she wont feel guilty and it will relieve some dieting tension. i think it's a good idea- i try to plan a day like that every once and a while...just make sure it's plannned. and try not to eat more than 2500 calories so that you don't gain...

Hayley...I completely agree with you!!! The one time you give in, the worse you feel and you'll do it again and again untill it becomes a habbit...eating disorder.

STTTOOPPP! Sometimes I just decide to throw in the towel, but the next day I feel even MORE stressed and depressed. When I'm depressed or feel like I can't control anything in my life, it's comforting to know that my eating IS something I can control. SO DON'T THROW IN THE TOWEL, EVEN IF YOU'VE HAD A BAD EATING DAY ALREADY. IT'S NEVER TOO LATE TO STOP.
