hey i am new, but i have been on a diet for about a week now, and it is really hard to stick to it. today i had an apple for breakfast a salad for lunch and a slice of pizza. the dinner wasn't good, but would you say that since i ran for 45 minutes and did about half an hour of stretching it was worth it?

Hello, the piece of pizza that you had was definitely ok because you ate so little. Just to let you know, if you start eating too FEW calories, your body will get scared and stop losing weight. The amount of food you described sounds like not enough calories. Try eating more fruits and vegetables and whole grains. When you're buying things that have carbs in them like cereal and bread, instead of looking at how many carbs or something stupid, just look at the amount of dietary fiber in each serving. Try not to eat things that have less than 1 gram or even 1 gram in them, try to get things that have at least 2, becaues the more dietary fiber, the less processed the product is and the more healthy it is. More than focusing on how little food you can eat, focus on only putting healthy things in your mouth. Good luck!
