Gonna start checking my w=eight every night, is that overchecking? I just wanna make sure it doesn't rise up. Start weight: 170 (I lost 3 pounds already ^^) Goal weight: 150-140, wish me luck!

That's definitely not healthy to weigh yourself that often and at night. Here's the reasons:
1. Your weight fluctuates a lot during the month because of your period, if you've eaten lots of sodium that day (which makes you retain water for a bit, so it looks like you've gained weight) and many other factors. If you weigh yourself every night you'll drive yourself crazy every time it says you've gained some weight, even if it's really nothing. One of the reasons that people have a hard time losing weight is because they get stressed, and your body doesn't like to lose weight when you're stressed
2. Don't weigh yourself at night. The best time to weigh yourself is in the morning a little after you've woken up, before you've eaten, and weigh yourself naked. Throughout the day a person can gain as much as 6 pounds of weight. It's not real weight, just weight from food yet to be digested, and water. In the morning your body will be at its most accurate weight. But even then, if you've eaten lots of sodium the night before, it will look like you gained weight. You should weigh yourself once or at the most twice a week. Pick a day, and weigh yourself at the same time on that day.

you should only check it once a week.... like i did it every day and i weighed 2 pounds heavier one day so i ate fruits n vegatables the next and lost 5 but then gained it back on.... plus you should only weigh yourself in the morning... thats when you weigh the less

um- yes that's over checking. our bodies naturally fluctuate during the day and throughout the week. so you might get discouraged if you step on the scale and you're a couple pounds heavier even though it's natural for your body to do so and it's not fat. so you should only check your weight on the same morning each week...

yep. its a bad idea to check your weight that often. Its obsessing! Besides, weight totally fluctuates ALL THE TIME! So you might loose a pound one day, then gain two the next, but by the end of the week its gone again. Its just unneeded stress.
