There have been a few questions about spot reducing(losing fat from a certain body part, like say your inner thighs or losing fat from your upper arms), and I thought I'd shed some light on the subject:
Truth is, you can't spot reduce. Everybody is different. Some lose all their weight from their stomach, others their arms, legs etc. Others lose weight overall.
You can't choose where you want to lose weight..it just doesn't work out like that.
You can probably tone up by lifting weights and stuff like that, but it is impossible to choose where you want to lose weight.

good point.. doing a lot of sit ups (even though they can be annoying) actually helps alot. not only does it help with ur stomach, but it builds muscle and.. muscle weighs more than fat
