my friend ,Sara , got really fat over the summer while she was away at camp , she came home and i was shocked at how much weight she gained , like maybe 35-40 pounds, but shes acting like she didnt notice and she keeps eating like a pig and its like junk food 24/7 and im really worried that she'll become really unhealthy, and her parents asked me because im her best friend to tell her that she needs to stop eating somuch and lose weight , how can i tell her she needs to stop and become healthy again ?

instead why don't you set an example? she pulls out the chips- you pull out carrots and exersize with her! but do it surriptitously- like play an active game opr sport and really get her into it. don't go to her and tell her straight out that she's fat because that could reaqlly hurt her feelings

how good do you know her parents. maybe y'all can for a team to help her beat that. she can't feel good about herself. that is alot of weight. i mean seriously if the girl had never eaten before that day she might have been able to gain that over the summer. this isnt a bad joke you are playing on these kids is it?

I've tried that and she is not interested at all in exercise or even eating less , but its really frightening how much weight she has been gaining because before she used to be 105 pounds and now she is almost like 180 , she gained 40 at camp and like maybe 25-30 mor esince shes been home

I am a old man compaired to most of you in here. but i am trying to loose 20 lbs myself. to help your friend get heathly again try to find a sport that the both of you can enjoy, and encourage her to get better and better at it. she will start to loose weight from the sport its self. then that should put her on the right track. walking could even be a great thing. go up to your high school track after school and start with a mile. that will increase to 2 and before you know it you will be walking to the track! just be a good friend to her, and encourage a heathly diet. it will help you also, even if you don't need it. this is a great website for everyone to reach their goals together.
