Does drinking water really work?? What else would help to lose some weight by the time school starts?

lol, obviously it will help you lose weight but not without exersize and a good diet. and it will only help lose water weight by itself....

no- it won't help you lose fat unless it's with exersize and eating less calories. water doesn't "flush" fat ouit of your system- it helps your body function better and retain less, gives you more energy, keeps you hydrated- but that's about it. it's a great thing but don't feed into that whole thing...

yes it will help you lose water weight. the more you dronk the less you retain. another thing that'll help you lose water weight is cutting down on sodium and sugar...

I read that if you drink 4-6 32 ounce bottles of ice cold water throughout the day that it burns 123 calories. It has something to do with the amount of enery it takes to warm your body back up to the normal body temperature. I just got a bowflex and its in my training book.

um no, water does not make you lose water weight, water one of the most important things to remember if you are trying to lose weight, it flushes your system and its just the only thing that will really help, drink up.

If you are drinking lots of water you will lose water weight, but not the fat. You need to exercise and eat right to lose fat.
