im 5 5 and i weigh 235 lbs. ive played baseball every year for the last 5 eyars includign this year, but i just cant run anymore liek i used to cauze im carrying around so much fat. should i try to play again in my winter league or just quit baseball because i cannot move very fast without getting winded. i get winded when i have to run to first base, and it takes me at least twice the time of everyone else on my team to run to first.

Nah, dude. If u enjoy the game, stick with it. It's good exercise too. Maybe u could increase ur exercise outside of baseball, lose some weight....and run faster

steve, if you like it, do it, simple as that. and working out with the team will help you get into shape anyway.

If you love baseball, dont quit! Just try to eat healthier, eat less, and exercise to get ready for baseball, it will get easier and easier. You should only do the things you love!
