i know this may seem extreme to some people but I am very motivated to lose weight. For my diet part, for 6 days a week i will eat 1200 calories from healthy foods, on the 7th day of each week I will still have 1200 calories but work a mcdonalds mcflurry or piece of pizza or the like into the calorie limit. For exercise I am going to workout 6 days a week. For 3 days I am going to ride my bike 16 miles with a friend (8 miles up to a school and 8 miles back) and do a workout video, for the other 3 days I am going to swim laps for an hour and do the workout video. How does this sound? I know the obvious awnswer is extreme but I hope to stick with this plan for at least 8 weeks and then chart my progress. Please leave comments,tips, ect on this plan. plus I need a WEIGHT LOSS BUDDY FOR A 16 YEAR OLD GIRL THATS ABOUT 175 LBS AND 5'5 PANT SIZE 12/16 depdning on jean type....thanks

i haven't weighed myself lately and have been doing really bad. i'm probably around 150 again though my lowest was at 142, i'm 5'5" and a size 13/16. i'd like to get to a size 9 just so i could be a single digit. i'd love to be your weight loss buddy! my email's red8705@hotmail.com just remember to make the heading weightloss buddy or blubberbuster or something so i don't accedentilly delete it. thanks if you write!

That's a good calorie intake. I suggest to you to not eat the pizzza or mcdonal's ice cream. Why? Because if you are on a diet you want to stay away from food like that. Why not try some low calorie foods? Vegan pizza is good and has sooo much less calories. Also, there are plenty of sugar-free ice cream bars out there. Just a suggestion.

hey that's really good! but once you get to the weight you want...you might cut it down a little! and do stuff you like to work out...like maybe on one day play a sport instead of the workout video

1200 calories for that amount of excercise is really not enough. It may sound like you need less calories, but if you don't have enough energy source when you excercise, you can actually go strait to burning muscle. You body will literally hold onto every fat cell. Also, it sounds like you are just going to be doing cardio...you need to do some weight lifting or anaerobic excercises to keep your muscles healthly. All of that cardio can kick the crap out of your muscles. Muscle burns more calories than fat, and more lean muscle mass means a higher metabolism. Good luck, though.

hey try drinking 8 glasses of ICE water a day and you can burn 250,300 calories.
