for the past couple of days I was following a 1,200 calorie diet...but I just did alot of research, and if you exercise either a little or alot or don't exercise at all, eating 1,200 calories will put your body into starvation mode unless your super human and have only eate 700-800 calories your WHOLE life...to lose weight properly you must eat between 1,400-1,800 calories depending on your gender and weight loss goals...for men it usually tends to lean towards the 1,800 and for females its usually around the lower ends of 1,400 calories...please don't put your body into starvation mode...you will lose weight at first but then your body will start saving all the rest of the fat in your body becasue it thinks that if it doesn't soon it will have no fat left. You can't trick your body out of it and your body isn't differnt, it will do this just like everyone elses! So increase your calorie intake by a couple apples and save yourself weight gain! heres just one ofthe many websites the support this ont he net..http://www.diettalk.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-27533.html
