one way to target your bulimia and improve your life is to stay away from foods that tend to trigger binges. binge eating is often the cuase of purging, so it should be avoided by not eating addictive substances(white flour, sugar, ect). remember, always avoid foods that trigger binges, and you can slowly help yourself, by avoiding purging. good luck!

First, I would seek prefessional help right away. I have no experience with bulimia, or being overweight. But,you should talk with someone you trust. Try to resist the urge to throw up. Distract yourself. Think about how gross it is. If you keep doing this, then it could make your teeth go all soft, how gross and imbarasing!

Well.. i had eating disorders for like 5 years..i would go between bulimia and anorexia and each one and let me tell you..bulimia was really bad man..it like didnt do anything but lead me into binging and weight gain..then I'd have periods of starving..not a good road to go down. I hope you get better and love youself for who you are now. I'm mainly recovered from that horrible stuff but i noticed that as soon as I stopped my eating disorder I gained a lot of weight because I messed up my motabolism..not to scare you or anything...and now I want to lose it in a healthy way..I need to love myself too..really..i hope you recover from that becuase it is not a pretty road to go down..Good luck and i wish you the best..chels

Hey i used to have bulimia well not like really bad i did it like alot one week and than the next i would diet than i would cheat and do it all over again.. but what stopped me was i started lookin at my teeth and it grossed me out and than i never saw a weight change i just like gained weight cause i ate so much.. so i just stopped now im doin weight watchers cause all the food i ate when i was bulimic was like cake and jello and cookies but on weight watcers u can eat all those things just a small minimum amount.. if ur trying ot lose weight bulimia definitly doesnt work unless ur like only eating a little bit everyday and than throwing that up than you will but u will probly go into a hosptal if u do that.. try a diet and go to the store with your mom and get hjealthy foods and than tomrow or somethign go online and look up weight watchers and than like go into eating that and i bet ull lose alot of weight i have losr 20 pounds in a month.. i hope everyhing turns out okay..

my friend was bulimec last year. She hates getting help from her parents,doctors and even friends. So obvisouly if you don't mind getting help from other people call a hotline, tell a trusted adult or make an appoitment with your doctor for a "checkup" and let her know what was going on. If not then you need to find the strength inside yourself. Look at the stories about teenagers and adults that die just from sticking a finger down their thoart. When you throw the food up all you feel is a sensation of relief, but guess what? You don't get rid of the calories, they are already absorbed in your body, which is why buliemcs usually stay at the weight they are at. All you are doing is sticking a finger in your throat, making processed food come back up and into some sort of bucket or toilet. You are removing half processes food products from your body, not calories, not fat, processed food. Now I know it sounds simple, don't stick your finger in your thorat it just makes you throw up processed food! But its not that simple I know. Its an urge and you want to do this, its uncontrolable at times and makes you feel better and ligther and less guliyty after you do it, but it can be overcome. Right when you feel the urge to purge, put nail polish remover on your nails. This will in a small way discourage you from using your fingers. Second if this doesn't stop you in the long run, tell yourself the truth that your throwing up the waste from your dinner (like poo coming from your mouth)I have alot of little ways that might stop you from throwing up one or two times and then some long term advice that I can't type right now.
