Hi my name is jessika and i am 13 almost 14 and i am 5'8" and i weigh 317lbs. i dont know what to do my dad wants me to go on a diet but i dont know which one would be good so please can anyone give me some sugestions

hi, hon. i have herd that the atkins diet is very good. don't get started on any pills. they are very unhealthy and give many people heart attacks. eat lots of chicken for protein, veggies, fruits, salads, and nuts and stuff like that. hold back on the chips and ice cream, although it's ok to have just a little bit as a reward sometimes. try to ride ur bike as long as u can, and walk around. walking does better then running(proven fact) get 8 hours of sleep a day (trust me, its important.) do crunchies, bycicles in the air with ur legs, and just be active. spend less time on tv and computer and more time playing around in the back yard or something. good luck hon!
