I have some bad news and some good news. The bad news is I gained 4 pounds in the last week. The good news is now I'm cooking for my family but I don't know really any healthy things to cook; besides chicken. Another bad thing is I get to make things that I want to eat therefore I eat a lot. For example last night we had spaghetti and I had two servings w/ sauce. (clams, spinich, and butter, oh yeah onions is the sauce) then I had 3 slices of homemade bread; 2 plain; and 1 w/ butter and peanut butter. Resulting in what I think is like 1 or 2 pound weight gain!! Help!!

you can change little things in your cooking that'll cut out a lot of calories. such as- don't add butter. use a spray or something of the like. make a lot of veggies for dinner- that'll be full of fiber and will be really great for you. also- before you even sit down to eat put out guidlines for yourself like onlt 1 slice of bread and whatever else and eat very slowly and savour the taste and don't eat more then that...good luck!

It's great that you get to cook for you family because you can cook only healthy delicious things! Chicken is good with some vegetables... and shrimp stir fry is delicious! You can go on recipe sights that have healthy recipes that are low in calories and fat. Just try to make healthier things.
