Hey, as long as I can remember I've been overweight and I just want it to stop because I gain atleast 10 or more pounds a year. Since I started boarding school last August I have managed to gain 45 pounds. If there is anyone, with any advice at all please help me.

Hey If It makes you feel any better I've gained 35 pounds in less then a year and I feel terrible. I want it to go away really bad because I hate the way I look, But I know that I'm the only one that can change it and It's gonna be a lot of work. I know It will Take a long time too. I keep saying that I'd do anything to lose weight..but the question is..would I wait? Would I Realize I need to lose no more then 2 pounds a week and get there much later? .. I want to lose It the fast way but If I did I wouldn't look smaller.. I'd just be lighter cuz I'd lose mostly muscle and water weight ... and trust me..I don't want that. I hate to tell you this but you probably won't be there by this summer..you might but probably not. Make an easier goal for this summer..like 185.. I know that's still a lot to you but It's 15 pounds less then you are now. And If you lose It slowly you'll lose 15 pounds of fat .. and that will make a huge..huge difference .. trust me. Yeah you won't be done losing weight but you'll at least feel more confident and have a great summer. Try not to worry about it too much either. If you let your dieting thoughts consume your life you overeat and you mess up and won't be able to lose it. Please keep what I said In mind. I'm pretty sure you won't be able to be 135 when you go on vacation but I'm positive you can be 185 by eating right and exersizing..trust me.. 185 is a great goal ..not your last goal but a good goal for right now. eat smaller meals and have fruits or veggies as snacks in between. start getting out more and exersizing on your freetime! or if you're not allowed to be out when you can exersize(i don't know much about boarding schools but the upward bound program i'm in only gives us a couple of hours of free time when we can get out) then get a video- i definately suggest taebo...good luck!
