Ht. 5'6", Today: 165 lb (BMI %tile: 95), Goal: 140 lb - Hi, I wiegh 165 and i am 5"6 and i would like to lose weight. My goal weight is 140. The area i need to work on most is the stomach. Abs are hard work- Usher does 1000 sit ups a day to get his six pack. Flab on the stomach can be best loss thru dieting and situps, also anything involving jumping like dancing, running. I suggest you pick a sport you enjoy and then do it hard core, as in anytime you have time and get a friend or family member. Basketball is great, it really gets you moving. It is also important to build perserverance, you must be able to control what you eat and your exercise. It's imperative to become really motivated, if not, you will lapse back and occasionally have a snack and feel guilty. Eat lots thru the day, about 5 small meals, breakfast being the biggest. Each meal should have a veggie, fruit, and protein. Absolutely NO chips, pizza, cookies, etc. Pretzels make a good snack if not salted. You literally have to watch each bite. Good luck
