Hey all. Just have a comment on resisting the temptation to over eat or eat things that aren't apart of your diet. Okay, I'm on a low carb diet (for all those who don't know) and the last couple of days my family has been extremely low carb unfriendly =). Tuesday my sister made these huge homemade chocolate chip cookies (which I can't have) and yesterday my Dad made a soul food dinner with cornbread (OMGoodness! I LOVE cornbread and this was one of the hardest things for me to stay away from). Let me tell you... I spent those two nights pacing the floor I wanted to just eat so badly! Thankfully I didn't give in and I can honestly say that I feel SOOOOO good physically and mentally. Just have to say that if you stick to your guns and sacrifice eating a few bad foods now it'll pay off in the long run. Plus I've found out that when I eat the "Forbidden Foods" =D I feel extremely guilty and unhealthy as well. I said all this to say: Don't give up!! lol If ya keep going you'll get to where you want to be, and as a extra bonus have the will power that you may not have had before. Alright, now that I've finished my speech lol, I hope you all will keep on keeping on =P. -Veronica

resisting the temptation is such a good sign! shows that you have sort of re-trained your mind. thats the best thing ever. Just have to realise that its not worth it in the long run :) Wish I could have that level of dedication, but Im trying! really inspirational to know you resisted! keep it up :)
