Hey everyone!! Okay...I don't eat meat so it's hard for me to go on alot of diets. I want to lose weight and keep it off. I have started THE FIRM tapes recently. But here is my diet plan...Half a grapefruit for breakfast, half for lunch, and half for dinner. I know you will all say that I am dumb but this is a step up from what I usually eat. I barely ever even eat so I really need everyone's support on this diet. Thanks!! Tell me what ya think oh and how much weight do you think I can lose by doing this for 3 weeks and exercising every day.

I really dont think this whole grapefruit diet I am hearing about is a good idea. You arent going to get anytyhing of your nutrients. I was anorexic last year for about 6 months and this diet ur doing snt much of a step up. I have been eating healthy and drinking lotsa water. I also do tae-bo, heres a hint dont go on a diet for a target weight, go on a diet and set a target body. Its much easier to see the results in a mirror instead of a scale. Good luck. I hope I didnt sound like a snot, but it worries me to see you guys fasting and stuff.

I do not want to go on the Atkins diet. I was just watching the news and they investigated it. It's actually really bad for you. I just wish that I could be supported in this. I'm barely ever hungry because I used to starve myself so this is ALOT better than I used to be. My feelings were hurt by some of the postings I got.

i'm also sorry about your hurt feelings- i wish they didn't get hurt but people are only trying to help you. sarah. i'm sorry but that's very self destructive and i just wish you'd add a little bit more to your diet. maybe instead of just grape fruit you could have veggies too because the negative calorie diet is certain foods that acctually burn more calories digesting then you eat- you can find a short list of them on the net and you would be getting a lot more nutrients that your body needs that aren't in grape fruit. i'm acctually going to try the neg. cal. diet next week. it says you can lose up to 14 pounds in the first week. i hope that you go with something like that rather then only eating one type of fruit but with the neg. cal. diet you can eat some fruits- including grape fruit- and a lot of veggetables. plus you lose more then you would starving yourself and your metabolism wouldn't be screwed up when you reach your goal weight- acctually it's supposed to speed your metabolism up! i think that this is a great alternative but it's your body- i can only try to persuade you so much. good luck!

if you use a different diet plan it might not come off as fast(except if it's something like atkins) but there's no way that the diet you're about to go on is for life as diets need to be if you don't want to gain it all back. you're going to be stuck in the same situation when you gain it all back except that it'll be a lot harder to lose it because you'll be screwing up your metabolism so much. i wish people would stop coming up with self destructive diets like these...

what are you guys talking about?! eating something is so much better for your health and your metabolism then eating nothing or barely anything! you guys really need to learn that our bodies were made to eat when we could and the reasons why we're overweight is because we don't exersize enough and eat too many processed foods. no- you don't eat that much fat on the atkins diet- i mean you can if you want but it gets old real quick as my mom was telling me. she doesn'
t eat fatty foods and she's losing a lot of weight. oh yeah- and the atkins is great for you because it's shown that your body burn the fat because it doesn't have the carbs it usually runs on and when you're on the atkins diet you cholesteral goes down. i'm sorry but the world is just going so far away from natural instincts it's sick. starving yourself is not the way to go!

well- if you're going to do i guess no one can stop you but it would be a lot healthier if you just wen on the atkin's diet and lost the same amount of weight. it's better then eating that amount...

Hi, I do the Firm tapes as well. And they are NOT meant to be done every day. If you read the information they give you it says NOT to do them every day. It gives you a diet plan, and an exercise plan, why don't you just use those?

Hun ya gotta eat more then just a grape fruit. Thats very unhealthy. Eat more fruits then just grape fruit. I eat Grape almost everyday too. Its so yummy =p but anyway just letting ya knows just eating grape fruit aint healthy!-SW
