Ht. 5'8", Today: 165 lb (BMI %tile: 92), Goal: 145 lb - HEY, I AM GOING TO TRY OUT FOR MY CHEERLEADING SQUAD IN MID-MARCH AND I AM 5'8 AND 165 POUNDS.I WAS WONDERING IF I AM TOO BIG TO CHEER AND IF ANYONE HAS ANY IDEAS ON HOW I CAN LOSE 20 POUNDS BEFORE MARCH. ANY TIPS ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED! THANKS

You don't have to loose weight to cheer.You can be a cheerleader if you are slightly overweight, all you need is the talent. If you would feel better if you lost weight then try fat burning pilates. They don't just work, they are fun too. LoL. Good Luck!!!

we have heavy cheerleaders and average cheerleaders and a few skinny one but not that many so go ahead and cheer

no one's too big to cheer. half of our team at school is anorexic- the other half is severly obese. they're very mismatched but it works i guess. lol.

trust me-your not too big for cheerleading. one of our schools cheerleaders has to be about 200 pounds. and we are a good squad-we got 3rd place in our state competition this year.(not that i'm a cheerleader)
