My Advice!!!!Myself, I wouldn't do that high protein diet= The Ackins Diet!! Because it seems to be all the wrong foods and too much fat. Remember the weight isn't going to disappear over night and it will take a lot of hard work. The Ackins diet seems like a quick fix to me, and you can't get a quick fix if you want to keep the weight off. But it's worth it!! I lost 21lbs by counting kcal and keeping fat grams low. It worked like a charm, it's been a whole year since I lost that weight and I only gain 7lbs back!! meaning, I kept a whole 14lbs off!!!! *Have you included any exercise into this new lifestyle? Start off slow like 1 - 2 time a week and build up to exercising five times a week. That's what I'm doing!!! *I know it's shocking when the weight sneaks up on you but remember, you can beat it and you will. This is a new wall in your life that you will over come. Don't be put of by how much you want to lose because, A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step!!!! That's how I look at my extra weight that I want to lose. It's only 8am but I feel like it's gonna be a great day!! Today will be briliant and I will start my jourey!!! Krystle!!!!

if cherry was smart enough she'd have read my replies all the way through and realized that i'm not even on the atkins diet but just well educated about it.

acctually- if you eat lower carbs you just have to keep your body nutrient full and not let it get hungry and you don't need carbs. they're just a quick energy fix. it just takes longer for proteins and fat to give you an energy kick...

girl, if you read the atkins book (540 pgs) then you would know that atkins helps you loose because you only get 20 carbs of sugar, thus meaning, your energy source no longer comes from candy, sweets or wtvr, but from the fat(which is really stored energy) on your body and meat.
