Hi my name is Erik and Im 20yrs old and i used to push 340lbs and was tired of it so i started to work out ya know benchpress etc... and was gaining weight it was due to my already big physcial status the best exercises to lose weight is swmining, jogging, cardio, i know those activites sound easy but there not really. did you know you have to burn 3000 caliores to lose 1llb of fat thats about 1hr1/2 of swmming laps, 1hr of jogging, and about 30mins to an 1hr of cardio it sounds like a lot of work but before i left high school i was ranked 1 in my division for weight lifting and prom king and who whould every thought that me the kid who in 9th grade weighed 340lbs now i weigh 215lbs still heavy but with 93% musscle keep at what your doing and i hope my advice helps just remember to work out and eat right and youll be fine.

Some times if your ot eating enough your body will go it survival mode and will store all its fat. Be sure that your getting plenty of healthy food and drinking plenty of water it wil keep your body pure.

It depends on how much kcal's and grams of fat you eat each day. Plus working out could have gavin you a little muscle. Talk over your diet with your doctor/family and they will fine tune any problem in your diet!! Keep trucking!!! Krystle

you may be gaining a lot of muscle- but that's good because it'll burn more calories while you're not doing anything. another thing is that maybe you're still eatin too much- count your calories. it also might be retained water- in that case cut out as much salt and a bit of carbs as you can- this means no soda- even diet- because it has a lot of salt in it and don't add any to your food. take in more fiber so that you go to the bathroom more. and make sure that the workout that you're doing is high intensity aerobics. i hope you find the answer. good luck!
