Today: 204 lb - I am going to Philmont in August, 2004. For those of u that don't know, its a huge hiking expedition for boy scouts. Anyhow, im in really bad shape right now (204 pounds), and i need to know how i can get fit for hiking. I really can't get up and run in the morning because i start school really early, but i'm looking for some good aerobic exercise tips that might help me become more fit. Thanks a bunch. --G3nius

find some hilly terain to speed walk through everyday after school or whenever you can- do it for a while everyday and it won't seem like much at first but soon you'll notice you don't get out of breath as easily and things like that. tae-bo helped me a lot to get into shape- i really noticed that i was getting through my workouts a lot easier after a while- my mom noticed too- acctually she's the one who made me notice- practice even breathing when you're doing aerobic exersizes and eat well becasue it does help your body and eat enough so that you don't get hungry and weak. good luck and do the best you can!
