Today: 170 lb, Goal: 120 lb - hey everyone! i weight 170 lbs. Most of the weight in my stomch. I would like to weigh 120 lbs by August 2004. I need to go into this slowly becasue I am sick of yo yo dieting and I find it very hard to exericse. exercise does help even if it isn't for an hour, excpesially if you do small amounts through out the day becasue when you exercise for like 10 min your motabilism rises and continues at rate a while after you stop exercising

If you plan on taking an entire year to lose 50 pounds, you can do it with just a few LIFE STYLE changes because that is LESS THAN 1 pound a week. Just eat a little less or buy fat free if you had been buying regular products, stuff like that. You said you don't like to exercise, but it can REALLY help. Escpessially building muscle, I know originally muscle may gain pounds but it's not at all fat plus muscle burns more calories than fat so if you build muscle you will burn more calories while doing nothing. Cardio is best for losing fat though, if you really hate exercise just jog during commercials, or take stairs when you would use the elevateor, just small amounts of exercise through out the day can really add up

i want to lose 50 lbs by August 2004. I would like to gain muscle and become healthy in the process. I have tried evfery kind of diet possiable. Hollywood diet, ligid diet, just dairy diet, lettuce and water diet, watermelon diet, everyhting. Also, when I workout, I feel that if i dont like workout for an hour or so, that its not even worth it so I get very discouraged. I would appercaite any advice on eating, exercesing, staying on track, anything! thanks

What kind of advice do you need? What things have you already tried to help you lose weight and have you lost any yet? And how much do you want to lose?
