I really didn't see that "intended for adults" thing, but you do bring up a rather good point. I think mostly your finger size is going to correspond to your wrist in the way its intended, or they would also probably say there is a high risk this won't work or not post it on the site at all. (I've heard health professionals tell people to do this test so I quess it's a bit reliable). I feel a little stupid about the adults not children part, but I've used a few adult calculators on me and they seem to work the same as children ones. I think you should try the calculator anyway but just don't take it too literally. Sorry about that mistake. ^_^

that calculator says at the bottom: "This healthy weight calculation is intended for adults, not children," - also what if ur fingers are short fingers or long fingers?

No. Probably not. But if you want to check your "frame" or bone size wrap your index finger and thumb around your wrist. If the fingers overlap you have a small bone structure; they touch, medium; they don't touch, large. This can actually be important to determining a healthy weight. It can differ on what is the healthy weight for someone who has a small bone structure to a medium or large one. It can even differ in a matter of 20-40 lbs. You can probably get this checked out on the web; In fact I have found a web page just for that: http://www.healthatoz.com/healthatoz/Atoz/tl/cl/healthyweight/healthyweight.jsp It's a calculator to find your (about average) healthy weight based on height and overlapping your fingers on your wrist. You probably don't need to lose anything so don't worry, ok? ^_^
