Ht. 5'5", Today: 169 lb (BMI %tile: 95), Goal: 124 lb - I need to lose about 45 lbs by August 5th. I am 5'5 and 169 lbs. Any tips? I am willing to do anything.I also have a summer job as a swim intructor, which means me+bathing suit at the most popular swim place by me, so that might help keep my motivated. make a schedual for your self,start with stretching then crunches ,then jogg where ever you can(YMCA, your block , 5 times around your house)start to drink more water insted of pop and juice! do this every day, but DO NOT GET LAZY (dont stop running till the end) this will work , if you do this responsibly

August 5th is 9 weeks from now, so lets do the math. The safest amount of weight to lose would be 2-3 pounds every week, so if we calculate 9 (weeks till August 5th) and multiply that by 2 (pounds lost per week) would be 18 pounds lost during that period, or if you do 9*3 = 27 pounds lost. It would take about 2-3 extra weeks to lose 45 pounds, make it 9*4 = 36 or 9*5 = 45. But, remember that losing the safer way is the healthier way and be sure to eat lots of healthy food and cut the junk. Good Luck!
