Well, this isn't exactly a success story... not yet anyway. I am 15 yrs. old, and I feel very overweight. I'm not comfortable with sharing how much I weigh right now, but I definitely could lose some pounds. I've been an overweight kid since about 5th grade, and every year I seemed to weigh more and more. I was completely disgusted with myself, and I wondered how could ANYone gain so much over time this way?! Well, finally, in the 9th grade now, I've decided to DO something about it. One day I stepped on the scale and I couldn't believe what I saw!! I was SO mad at myself for allowing things to get this way that it motivated me to take the first real step in doing something about it. I used to complain all the time about how fat I am, feeling sorry for myself, and I thought I looked absolutely disgusting!! Even though I don't really look like I weigh as much as I do, and my family members say to me, "Lena you're NOT FAT!!", I don't feel that way, and I want to feel better about myself, and have confidence in the way I look. I have started a program called Weight Watchers, and I've only been with it for a week, but it's actually a really good program. It really just teaches you food management, and that it's all about HOW much, and WHAT you eat, and WHEN you eat it, and that exercise is key in losing weight. I forgot to weigh myself when I started, so this will be the week that really counts. I'll keep updating on how much I lose, if any, every week but until then, if anyone has any exercise suggestions for me, please share them it would be a big help!

I would suggest checking your bmi or checking with your doctor to make sure that you are overweight. However, if you feel that you have too much fat on your body, do exercises to tone up because there is a difference between being overweight and having a lot of body fat. You don't want to do anything drastic because then you'll just mess up your body like I did. (I'm a recovery anoretic.)

i hope you can do it! walk and make breakfast or lunch your biggest meal, so you can burn it of. try to drink lots of water and eat lots of fruit. if you get hungery at night drink some water and thats it b\c thats when yuor body goes and eats the fat, but as she said, don't starve yourself, just replace some foods and eat a LITTLE less. i was on my way to anorexia, but i stoped myself, don't do it! IT DOESN'T WORK. i wanna lose weight badly and have been put into a hospital b\c i was so depressed, and even thought about suicide all i can say is frind some way to motivate yourself. i believe in u!!!!!!

If your family says you're not fat, then you probably are not.... You look like you're heading straight foward to and eating disorder (anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder) and believe me THAT IS NOT FUN... it wrecks your life, studies, body...
You'd probably be better off doing sports, and eating more fruit and veg AND FULL STOP.
Well that's my advice !!!
