Has anyone ever calorie counted and if so could you possibly share some inspirational advice about your experiences??? :-P

i calorie counted, but it lead to obsession with food, and i became anerexic. i think the best way is to eat healthily.

I think you've come to the right place. I've calorie counted for almost 3 years and in that time I have gone from 175 pounds to (at my lowest)135. Right now I'm around 140 because of the holidays. Lets see, I started at about 1800 calories and worked my way down. If you drastically want to lose weight, then you can do about 1000, but not for very long. I love numbers, so this is the right thing for me. I calculate averages and things. This week my average was 1348! That's good since I've been averaging around 1600.
