heya guys- i hope you can help me out, because i am sooo confused!! My mom is a doctor, and she says that if i want to lose weight i have to cut down on fats like cake and fries etc, and eat a lot of bread, pasta fruit and stuff like that. But my dad says i need to eat the same as what i normally eat but half as much, and my sister says i can't eat any carbs like bread or pasta because they make you fat and that i need to eat more protein. Who should i beleive? Which would work best? I have also started exercising, which is the only thing that my family agreed on for weight loss. I am 5'3 and 118. Has anyone got any ideas on what actually works: hgh carb, high protein or half the amount.

all 3 work but studies prove that no carbs is the best and fastest way to lose. your dads diet sounds tempting cuz u can eat all the fav foods but believe me, it will lead to deprivation and bingeing. for example, "i will just have 1 cookie". 1 leads to 10. 10 leads to "what the heck, i will just eat it all and diet later". your mum's diet MAY work but only if you exercise LOTS to work of the carbs. if you need anymore help, luv_candy88@hotmail.com

hey! dont worry you aint overweight!! im a 15 year old female and im 5 foot 4..thats just an inch taller than you..and im 128..thats 10 pounds more than you...and id kill to get to that weight! i wanna be 115-120...but im healthy at the moment..so i dont need to lose weighit neither...but im doin it for myself...i just wanted to let you know that u aint overweight! okie cya!

Go with what your sister says, it works, carbs are the root of a lot of extra fat,protein is key.

Yes I have ideas for you! =) Don't eat too much of anything, but you should have slightly more carbs than anything else. Don't eat that much meat! Eat good meats like turkey, chicken (not fried) to get your protein. The main way to lose weight is to cut calories. Good luck! :P
