smiley is right that sit ups will only build muscle, but keep in mind that muscle is a power-house for burning calories. so eventho you prolly wont notice results, the muscle you are building by sit ups burns fat and calories faster than if you weren't doing any sit ups.

It really does take quite a bit of time. You could look through all the past posts. There are alot of good advice and tps back there. Good luck!

Okay guys. Sorry to break your cloud but sit-ups do not make your stomach smaller. They build muscle which you won't see, until you have gotten rid of the fat off your stomach. The only way to get rid of fat on your stomach, is to burn more calories than you eat. So in other words, there is very little point in doing sit-ups unless you have little fat on your stomach. Hope this helps! :)

yeah, i have the same problem!!!!! the only thing that i found that works is just not eating... and then your stomach looks smaller. but then as soon as you eat anything your stomach streches out and you look fat the rest of the day. well this is what happens to me and it's really annoying (cause when you eat anything at all...even like a piece of bread you also gain about 5 pounds), so i don't recommend that you try that... just continue with situps i guess, thats what i'm gonna do. if i find anything that works i'll tell ya!
