i have been trying to lose weight for about a year now. about 2 years ago, i lost lots of weight by starving myself and gained it all back. now, i'm trying to cut out almost all junk food. i also exercise 30 minutes almost everyday on treadmill, stairclimber, and jump rope. the sad thing is that i still haven't lost any weight!! i eat 3 times a day and a snack between lunch and dinner. i need an advice on what i might be doing wrong. drink lots and lots of water, it'll fill you up instead of food. also, when you eat alot of carbs (like, a peanut butter and jelly sandwhich lets say) try to excersize for a few minutes afterword, just to get your metabolizim moving so you digest the food faster. don't worry about losing weight, worry about how you look to yourself. as you get older you're bound to gain weight, so don't relaly concentrate on that or you'll give yourself uneeded stress. eat when your hungry, and rest when you're tired. but when you eat, don't eat until you're full...eat until you're not hungry (theres a difference, and thats good advise...trust me.) lets see, ummm well muscle weighs more than fat, and by excersizing that much you're burning fat and gaining muscle, even though you may not be losing any weight. ok i can't think of anything else now, but if you have anymore questions or want some more tips e mail me @ bluegecko31@netscape.net (or IM me at bluegecko31)
