I 5'7 and have been overwiehgt most of my life. I have an eating disorder that I am trying to kick but. I really want to lose weight I mean I am tried of going in stores and not being able to wear clothes my friends can wear I really need to lose 38 lbs in 5 weeks before school starts back can any body help me

i know just how you feel im trying to lose 25-30 lbs. before school starts too. its tough, right?

I know you want to lose the weight before school starts, but it is completely unrealistic to lose that much weight that fast. Trust me on this, if you set unrealistic goals, you're setting yourself up to fail. Even if you did lose the weight that quickly, you would almost certainly gain it back, if not more. (I did this). I know it's frustrating, but slow weight loss really is best. As for how to lose weight, try going to Dietpower.com, it's a really good program that can help you monitor your eating. It worked for me! :)

I know exactly how you feel. I'm 5'8 and somewhere around 156-150. My friends are all tiny, short, skinny, the whole deal. I hate shopping with them because they're grabbing 0's and I'm trying to see if they have and 11's. I had anorexia a while back, but I think I'm over it. Try slowly giving up junk food(ie, give up chocolate one week, chips the next etc...) and do 1 hour exercise everyday(walking is VERY good. It burns fat) and if hungry eat celery as it burns more calories than you put on. Try doing pushups, start with 5 female ones, then build up till you can do mens ones. Goodluck!
