Hey guys, I need your opinion on my new work-out schedule. My diet/training session consists of 140 crunches a day, 50 when I wake up, 50 when I go to bed. In the morning (before breakfast and after stretching), I do my work-out which consists of 15 leg lifts w/ each leg, 15 curl-ups, 20 crunches, 10 push-ups, and than 10 arm lifts with 10 lb weights and 20 benchpresses with an 80 lb weight. I also do this work-out an hour before going to bed. Am afraid I'm working too hard, since I never really work out so much. And lately I've been getting a lot of HORRIBLE calf and hamstring cramps that make me want to die! Should I not work so hard every day?

Okay, thannks for all of your tips. I think I'll be toning down work-outs and I'll stretch before and after each time, instead of just before. I'm not really looking to loose weight, just to get into better shape since I'm at a healthy weight for my age and height, I just to want to tone my muscles and look more athletic for spring break. Thanks guys ^_^

Hey, let me tell you, You need to do your exercising program 3-5 times a week not everyday, you'll end up hurting yourself. And another thing if your getting cramps you need more patassiom, try eating a banana a day and see what happens. Keep up working out just slow down a little and you'll get toned up. hope i helped amanda>

youre not stretching out your muscles after youve exercised. ur muscles bunch up. i bet it feels like all ur muscles r in a knot? ive had it too! after exercising, stand up and put ur heel on the floor with ur toe pointing upwards. the further away ur foot is with out you bending anything for it to get there, the more u can feel the stretch. if they cramp during the night, just reach down n pull ur toes. it stretches ur whole lower leg muscles-u should be able to feel the stretch. im doing a similar routine. keep it up! well i do think u got alot of work out. maybe lower the weights in half. i work out only at night and that is good enough for me. maybe u should just work out in the morning or night, not both. and don't push yourself too hard.
