I have recntly started working out three timees a week, but I read somewhere that working out with weights before you are about 16 will stunt your growth. Is this true? I've never heard this before.

IT's it fine if you work with wieghts.2,3 times a week,skip a day in between.Lifting 5-8lbs is good.It will keep your mussels in shape,and helps burn cals.when you lose wieght you lose 20%mussel tissue,so if walk,run,lift wieghts anything to keep mussel on your body while you lose fat.

i never heard that either, but just in case it MIGHT be true, i wouldn't really start working out too much. maybe like a few times a week or somthing.
