u r probaly right on that one. sorry if i seemed mean or mad, its just i really wanted a wallabie and u get your hopes so high and u e mail all these people that raise them and everything, u just don't want to hear people saying that they dont think u can get one because they r more better put in australia and all that stuff. it is very, well, put downing. (i am not sure if that was a word, but u get what i mean) so sorry if i seemed rude, probaly was, i just didn't want some 1 say i can't get what i think i can get. it was like, um, putting down a dream of some sort. i mean u would write and feel the same thing too if happened to u wouldn't u?

rachel, actualy i looked up on sites about them. they said that they can be in other parts of the world. in fact they can actualy get fur caots for winter, once they get used to. they can be very good house pets if trained. but u do need a house with a spaces back yard and that is what i have, fenced too. and i am sure u r alitte right about siping them. i don't think it is ilegel, but i do think that wouldn't be the best way. i found some wallabies for sale some where in texas. they r perfesionals about that and would want to meet u before buying the wallabie. plus on animal planet it said that wallabies r great house pets as long as u don't keep them cooped up inside for months and will get used to cold climate. i know a girl who lives in canada and that is where she raises wallabies. so u r wrong about many of the things u said. check your sources before saying them next time, because yours r very wrong in certain ways.

i live in australia like henry and although its all well and good to keep kangaroos in australia, to keep them in any other part of the world i think u will find is illegal. they are native to australia and i read somewhere that only the black market will ship them across the world and during the trip they are kept in such filthy conditions, that it would be cruel to the wallaby.
