hi im 13 1/2 years old and im 5'8 and weigh 178 lbs and i need to loose weight by the stat of the school year.People say im not fat but thats because i suck in my stomach and wear big trying to loose 2o lbs but i just keep gaining weight.i work out 3 hours a day and i need help.

Nick Im 5,8 and weigh around 149 I dont wear big shirts but isuck in my belly. I where a size 32 - 33 pants what are you wy weist sound small but my belly expants try many sit ups or the Ab Slide works super

If you work out 3hrs a day and still aren't losing weight then you're doing something wrong. You need to learn the right ways to work out, and to get results. Because if you're not doing anything right, then you're wasting your time, and you won't lose any weight.

I know everyone is probably tired of hearing me say this... but it is SO true... and it's worked WONDERS with me (I'm now known (to myself) as wonder-woman!:) )Try lifting weights... you're too young to go to a gym.. so just get some weight magazines and dumbells... and pump some iron at home. I'm 5'2 and 170... and have lost 10 pounds by just lifting weights and eating healthier (fruits and veggies.. ya know). I used to have flabby arms and thighs... and now they are taking on more definition!!! It really works! So... give that a try.

First of all, yes, you should lose some weight. I'm your height, 18 lb lighter, and I still have a rather large stomach. Second, I used to do the exact same thing that you do (suck in, big shirts) but I seemed to gain more weight because of that. Finally, you may workout 3 hrs a day,but if you don't change your eating habits it won't mean anything. With a little determination you can do it.

Nick- For you're heighth, you're probably where you should be weight wise!
