Hi, im 13 years old and weigh 140lbs and am a rising eighth grader. I get teased alot about my size. It may make a difference because of my height. Im 5'1. I want to burn the fat off my stomach, thieghs. I tried out for football and didn't make it past cuts. But I tried out for baseball and made it by a lucky shot. I want to be slim and nible by the eighth grade. My goal is to lose 30lbs by the end of summer. Could I do it?

actually, sit ups don't slimmen your stomach, they only bulk it up with muscle, i tried sit ups for a while. when i'm standing w/ my shirt off, you can see my abs, but when i'm sitting, i still get some smaller rolls. but i'm not fat, and i weigh 110. i'm really pretty slim. i'm happy to talk if u like - jrw525@yahoo.com

Hey. I too want to lose 30 lbs by the ned of summer. I'm 5'6" and I weigh 160. My friend told me that situps help slim down your stomach. Maybe you could try that.

Hey, listen, if you just stay active and maintain a good diet than I am sure that you will reach your goal. But you have to be consistent or you won't see ANY results!! GOOD LUCK!!!!!

30 lbs. is a LOT to lose in only a couple of months. I'd say you could lose 20 lbs. by the end of summer if you really stick with a healthy diet and exercise. Leave your e-mail address if you want more info. Good Luck!
