I would not advise that you drink just water alone, but to aid any kind of weight loss, you need to consume about 8 glasses (250ml a glass) a day, or just as much as you can-well anything more than ur drinking now is better isn't it? won't work miracles, but it WILL help, just get rid of water retention and things like that, plus it'll work wonders for ur insides and ur skin!!...but only water-not with squash/fruit cordial. Right, as for the second part of ur question the Dr Atkins diet...i really do recommend that if ur serious about this than u should buy the new diet revolution book and some ketosis strips. I'm not sure if ur familiar with the diet, but in short you can eat as much fish, meat, eggs, and protein foods like that, plus cheese and cream. things that u r not allowed to eat are bread, pasta, cereal or high carbo's. the hardest part of the diet is the first 2 wks called induction where u will also lose a rapid weight, if done properly. and then u can slowly introduce carbs again. i really do recommend buyin the book. but in meantime, if u need anymore info, email and b specific

water is good for you if you accompany it with food too. if you do not eat anything but water, it can lessen your energy a whole lot. to burn fat off, you must have energy and energy comes from food. just have lots of exercise now and then while limiting your calorie intake to less than 2000 calories a day. try 1500 a day. at least it wont be a crash diet. e-mail me at tc!

Drinking water is okay there is nothing wrong w/ it. That is mostly how I lost some pounds.

Hey! My name is Nikki and I am also overweight, I am 13, about 5'5" and almost 160 lbs. I get made fun of alot and right now I am on a diet. When you said your friend drank water all the time, do you mean not eating at all?? It is possible to live without food, as long as your drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day or more. But that would kind of suck, dont you think? I am willing to this, I want to be thin, but I dont think you would have much energy. Drinking lots of water is good, and eating healthy is probably the best way to go. Or like me, if healthy food is not always available; eat smaller portions, thats what i do. I am a large eater and love food, so Im just starting to eat not as much. i am a size 13 in juinors but sometimes that does not fit either. I havent heard of the Dr. Atkins diet, but Im taking Metabolife, which works pretty good. Slim Fast does not work, If u want to try that, trust me. Some people gain weight from eating carboyhydrates, and some lose, most gain. Slim Fast is full of carbs. Man, im like going on forever here so u can email me at:
Good Luck!
