yo. I am 5' 8" and weigh 150 lbs. My main goal is to lose fat and buff up. I have a diet plan where I get 112%DV of protein, 81%DV calories, and 59% carbohydrates (based on a 2000 calorie diet). Along with 30 min a day of bike riding, I am wondering how long it will take me to lose about 20 lbs. Please respond with comments or suggestions. Thanx!

hey..i just wanna tell u im in like the same situation as u...im 5'8 160lbs tho...i really want to loose weight...im on a diet too...my mom was on it too since march and shes lost atleast 25lbs. we should def. talk and help eachother...email me...philly4nowgrl@aol.com

I was on a plan before where I ate about 750 calories a day and it took me about 2 months to lose 20 pounds. You have a lot more protien in your diet than I did so I would say maybe about 3 months. Just remember be patient and exercise.
