I'm 14 and weigh 200 pounds. I hate going shopping with all of my skinny friends and not being able to fit into the "cool" clothes because of my weight. I am about a size 16 and want to get down to at least a 9 or 10. I have tried writing down what I eat and even weight watchers but I just seem to give up. Anyone have any suggestions?
Reply from Sophie, Age 12 - 02/21/01 Well try a calorie chart and running. I wanted to give up on running but I'm finally loseing weight and fit in to a size 13 and barly in a 12.
Reply from Liz, Age 11 - 02/19/01 I know how you feel, I have also tried weight watchers. DOES NOT WORK. I even went through a stage of not eating, to fit in with my skinny friends. Keep going you can do it! Drink 6-10 glasses of water a day, exercise ( abslide is great ), and take a vitamin daily you will fit into those clothes before you know it.

Reply from Jacquelyn, Age 12 - 02/12/01 Hey Ashley. I know exactly what you're going through. I am a size 16 and I am trying to get down to about a single digit, which would be a 9, or at least a 10. I'd just suggest drinking lots of water, watching what you eat, and exercising for at least 20 minutes a day!
