Hello! I am 5'5 and I currently weigh 190 lbs. I want to lose about 50 lbs by summer. Can anyone tell me how I can lose this much weight by JUne or July? That gives me about 5-6 months. Is this possible to do? and if it is then can you tell me how? Thank you so much!!!

try cutting back on carbohydrates(bread,pasta,sugar,sweets,etc..). You will lose fat more quiquly this way, and you will lose it even more quiqly if you do some form of exercise every day. Even a10-15 minute walk is good. If you do have carbs like bread and pasta, choose whole grain products and have a small serving. You should concentrate on eating healthy vegetables and proteins(you should center your diet on these). The first 2 weeks you should cut back on carbs a lot and after that you can have a little more. For the first week aim for about 20-30 grams of carbs a day.if you dont cheat on this diet, you will definitely lose 50 pounds by summer. Wish you luck!!

It is very possible to lose that much weight by June/July but you need to start now!
1. Find out exactly how many calories your food contains and the fat content. This is very important because food can be low in calories but high in fat.
2. Find out from a doctor how many calories it would be safe for you to consume for your height and age.
3. Keep a note of what you are eating each day AND the amount of calories and keep roughly to what the doctor recommends. Remember that fruit, vegetables and water are better to eat than crisps, chocolate etc so keep them handy if you get peckish.
4. I find the low calorie soups that they sell in supermarkets excellent and only about 50 calories each and they fill you up and are nutritious.
5. Believe it or not some sweets and ice lollies are low in calories so check out the labels and treat yourself occasionally so it doesn't become too boring.
6. Avoid fad diets that promise you will lose the weight in two weeks. It just goes right back on again when you start eating normally again.
7. Enlist the support of family and friends and tell them what you are doing so they can be supportive.
8. Don't be disheartened if the weight comes off slowly. This is the best way to lose weight because it stays off and you have another five months so you have plenty of time to diet sensibly.
9. Try and take more exercise and drink more water.
10. Go around the supermarkets and buy the low calorie meals. You then know exactly what you are eating by reading the labels.
11. Make sure that you have the fruit and vegetables that you like around the house so you aren't tempted to nosh unhealthy food.
My daughter has been following this regime for about two weeks now and she has lost about six pounds so far. In fact, she hasn't yet complained she is hungry. Her skin has improved plus her general energy levels and she feels better about herself. I wish you luck.
