Hey! My names Candice and im 14 and i weigh 175 pounds!I was wondering if anyone would like to hepl me lose some weight?i really need a friend right now to help me cuz im getting really depressed about my looks and could use some encouragement. I have lots of friends and am doing great with the social sceane and all but i want to lose weight for me becuz in the future i wish to be a singer and i would like to look good. i just would like to be more free and feel more healthy! if anyone has any sugestions or comments or would like to help me i would really be greatfull! well thanx for ur time.

You should check out "Jump" magazine, too. In every issue they have a section on exercising. It's great that you want to be a singer, I like to sing, too. But there's someone who could inspire you. Her name is Della Reese. She wasn't skinny, and she wore dresses that showed her tummy, but she still made it. That proves that people really do have a heart. Now she's on the show "Touched By An Angel." You can see some pictures of her if you go to "touched.com" There's some more pictures of her in the "store" section. She has a lot of music there. Like they say on the show, "GOD LOVES YOU!!!!!!!!"

I think you should try to lose weight evendo is very hard to do but while you losing weight you should love yourself everyday because that is the most important thing in the world.You may get skinny and have a beautiful voice but if you don't love yourself nothing matters.

Hey! I know how you feel. I weigh in at 165 and I'm on a diet that I started a few days ago. If you have a chance, check out this months Reads Digest.They have an article on losing weight. I have a calorie diary,a motivation book (pictures of skinny people) and a goal paper. I figure if I eat no more than 1500 calories, I should lose weight. Maybe it will work for you too. But make sure that you do some research first.
prevention.com is a great web sight that I found. You can plan meals and excercise routines. You can also find out many calories you have burned with a special tool. TRY it. It just might work for you!
