Hi. Im AJ. Im 15,F, 5'6 and 260-275 lb's. I don't know if I have always been this overweight. I have tried to diet and excersize but i cant do it alone. When I do it with some 1 eles it motervates me to do it. But all my friends are skinner than me, and I don't feel comefretable. I have a lot of stress. A bout a half a year ago I was dissed by my mom. I tried to kill my self. Now I am liveing with my grandparents. When I lived with my mom she called me things like "Fat @$$ and other names. For a hole week I wouldn't eat. I have it in my mind that the reason my mom and dad(I never met my dad) don't want me is because I am fat. I wear size DDD in bra. That hurts. And size 24 in pants. I keep getting bigger and bigger. I think 1 day I am going to explode...(not really) I look at my self in the mera, and I see a beautiful smile, glowing eyes, and then a nasty, peice of fat, that covers my body. I have been to the Dr. and all she did was send me to the nutrinest. That didn't work. I am on depresents bc of me trying to kill my self. I am scared that I am going to get so sngry at my self that I am going to hurt my self, or start a eating disorder. Right now I am scared. I just want to go in the bathroom and throw up. I did it once before. I have tried to get help. I cant run bc it hurts my brest and my legs, back, and my feet, just hurt so bad. I can hardly breath now... but when I am doing things like that It is also hard to breath. I don't know wut to do. I am so mad at me, bc all i do is give up. I have no good immage about me. I am afraid that my b/f is gonna break up with me bc im so fat. pelase help me. I have to do something b4 I hurt my self...

Hellow,im letor.I ust to be 210 1bs and now im 101 lbs . im popular in my school now, because im skiny.all you have to do exersize and eat healthy its hard but it woks exstremly good. set your heart in it and it will happen i promis.

Just don't kill yourself. Just think...It could get better the next day. If you work up enough power, you can loose all that weight in a couple of years if you try hard enough! Good Luck! You CAN do it!

HI i am just writing to tell you thati know what you are going through and you are NOT alone..i am 5'4 and 175.I have never been able to stay in 1 paticular school because the insults people giveme are So bad..at 1 time i really wanted to kill myself..I just wanted to give up on life in general..But then i looked around atthe things i did have..i had a chance to exercise this year because i am being homeschooled and i have worked at getting healthy..horseback riding really helps for me..however here is one thing that really always wanted to make me kill myself that i got rid of..THE SCALE..i looked at that thing so much because i wanted to see if i had lost anything...i think it made me gain more weight tham loose because i was always SO stressed by looking at it..you should check your weight at least 1 a month..not every day,..

Nobody is that messed up. You are a human being and one of God's Creations. Your heart is what he see's. Keep it right and you'll be fine- Stop for a few minutes, think about some foods you do like that aren't fattening- like salads with lowfat dressings- get in the habit of nibbling on things that have no fat content in them. Just go for a walk every day and night if you can and start eating a lot of fruit, a lot of vegetables without butter or margarine, try and eat some baked fish every week!! tuna is very good for you- just add a very little bit of relish if you like and give up the bread! Just eat a little bit of wholewheat bread. take a vitamin every day- tell yourself you can do it and just start thinking thin today!! We love all of you- all you can do is take one step at a time.. eat Turkey breast too! Eat oatmeal- the kind you cook and put a little honey and milk and raisins in it- its the best thing to eat everyday for breakfast- it is sooooooooooo good for you!! Really.. Please try this- It will help you and remember, someone is praying real hard for you :) Try drinking some very cold ice water with fresh lemon sliced in it throughout the day. The lemon burns fat. Also drink grapefruit juice. LOTS AND LOTS OF WATER- It helps keep you full and you don't want to eat too much- so eat good when you do- at least three small meals a day. or about 10 very healthy things a day- think about all of the food groups and just TRY IT !!

I think Ariel is very wrong. You should find the willpower then start to eat 3 healthy meals a day with no snacks in between .If you feel hungry, just nibble on a piece of fruit or go for a walk or do something to take your mind off the hunger. You should try 2 focus on a goal 4 yourself,when u achieve something,say weightloss or even just going 4 a walk 4 now give yourself abreak and reward yourself 4 your efforts,not by a "food" treat but say something 4 yourself like a c.d. ,make-up, or a fashion accsesssory and when you start loosing some weight let your goal be a new wardrobe!!!! Its easy 4 me 2 say all this but its really up 2 u weather u want 2 make the effort and loose some wieght????do u think???? remember dont make food your enemy.kate

AJ.. this is what u are gonna do.. , get your pen and paper and take these notes down!!!! im Very serious
first off, I use to be quite heavy as well! soon as I got to high school I took a look in the mirror and said.."thats it! time to get buff!" now I am lean and starting to get serious with bodybuilding:) But now its time to help u!!! Ok, First off you have to talk to your parents and ask them very sincerly not to buy fatty foods. a normal average day intake of fat should be no more than 15 to 20 grams of fat. when looking at food, look at the grams of fat on the lable. if it does not have a lable with fat content.. DONT EAT IT!! DONT! unless u know it is very healthy. NEXT, when eating, try to eat only fruits, vegetables, whole grains(%100 whole weat bread) beans, and protein. lots of protein! not only will eating the above selection of foods help because they are low in fat, but they also burn fat!!! what else is good about them? you can eat as many vegtables and fruits as you want! as many! they also have lots of fiber, whats good about that you say? fiber tricks your mind into thinking you are full!!! now.. when u eat protein, try to eat alot of fish.. but low fat fish! try eating tuna.. but try getting tuna or fish with less than 1 gram of fat per tin. it is much better for u! if you don't like fish, eggs are very good, but try to eat only about 4 a week, try swithing up the protiens. chicken is good too, but try getting low fat chicken. now.. milk and chees is very important too.. but only low fat cheese and skim milk! now.. about excersising, if you eat all the above iteams I told u about, and excersise too.. you will not only burn off fat, you will get leaner too! now.. try thinking of the best looking boy in school.. dont u wish you were with him?? NO! cause you are going to look better! and will not give him the time of day when you get lean and mean! keep motivated by using that and music as a booster. Now.. to when u exercise, you should add weights into your routine.. why? cause muscle burns fat, when you lift weights, you are helping to burn fat more! try doing weights 3 times a week and cardio 5 times. I know it seems like alot.. but after a while, you will enjoy it :) now, if you dont have a stairmaster, jogging is the next best, but if you dont think that you can run.. then walking is fine. when you walk, try walking for 30 min a day 5 times a day, then each week, build up the time by 5 or 10 min. after a while, start jogging or running. it is important to do weights before any cardio. My name is Michaela and I am 16 years old. I read your message just today, and I want you to know how special you are. Fat or thin, tall or short, smart or dumb...you're special- and don't let anyone ever tell you otherwise.
I know it sounds crazy. And I know that it seems like your weight dictates your life. But what you need to realize is that when YOU start to dictate your own life, and when you stop obsessing about being thin and losing weight, you'll find that the weight will come off. Keep yourself busy. Do things you enjoy. Read, draw, do your homework, walk your dog...anything that you like to do!
I think that controlling weight is one of the hardest things to do in life. I've struggled with my weight for a couple years now. I'm not very large, but I want to sing and act, and in that business...weight is EXTREMELY important. So for me, I need to be a stick (something I've NEVER been). It's hard, I know. And I've found that it becomes a vicious cycle. I eat because I'm unhappy, and I gain weight, then I'm unhappy because I'm overweight...so I eat more. It makes no sense!
It'll take a while to lose the weight; to be in the state that you want to be in. It will be hard. But what you have to tell yourself is that it's worth it. Your happiness is worth every sacrifice- even if that sacrifice is food. Nothing in life comes easy. And the harder the challenge, the greater the reward.
I hope that you can believe in yourself. I believe in you. Everyone controls their destiny. You can lose weight. It's mind over matter. Good luck hun! Write me again if you would like to! I'd love to hear from you!

Try doing little movements. Like getting up to change the channel on the TV. Drink lots of water. Don't have tons of food available to you whenever you want. Eat mini meals instead of 3 whole ones. (It's just like lots of little snacks.) Don't forget to pray about it. Writing in a journal might help relieve some of your stress. I'll be praying for you!!!!!!!!

Listen to me~k~. You don't want to kill yourself!!! Today is Mon. and one of my friends,Brian, found his dad hanging from his treehouse, last Sat!!! He killed himself. I have never seen n*e one in so much pain(Brian that is). There is people who care about you, God included. you don't want to hurt yourself. It hurts people around you, like your grandparents. I know its tough to be big, I'm 5'7 and 165. But there are good reasons to live, #1 and the MOST important is God loves you. I don't know if you are christian or not but I am and I know for a fact God loves you even if we arn't super models.#2 Look around you right now, what do you see? Probaly a roof over your head and clothes on your back.#3Just think about your future, what could come of yourself? I could go on and on, but I'm not. Please listen to what I've said. I have seen to many gurls tryin to lose weight by throwing up and not eating. Don't let it happen to you.

Hey sweetie! My name is Jenna. I know EXACTLY what you are taliking about. At the end of my 8th grade year I was 5'1" and I weighed over 180 lbs. And I wondered why I couldn't get any of the guys to look at me. I decided I HAD to do something! I had been to see a specialist about my weight (some help they did, NOT) I decided this is something I'm going to have to do myself. I made myself a long term goal and a bunch of short term goals. I have just recently, after about 4 years of hard work, I have reached my long term goal. I was almost in a size 20 pants (and man r they buggers tryin to find too) and XL-XXL shirts. My long term goal was to get down to 125 lbs and get down to a single didget size pants. I am now 16 years old and wear a size 9 pants and can wear M-L shirts. The way I did this was, just simply cut down on how much I ate gradually. I quit eating snacks. Quit drinking so many soft drinks, i didn't eat everything on my plate. I ate a small but nutritious breakfast (exp: cereal and juice) and I ate a simple luch and I ate a moderate supper. I tried to keep myself active. I HATE exercising and I'm one of those people that want immediate results! But u can't get that by exercising. I'm a Girl Scout and there's a local camp that I always went to, it really helped keep me active, by just constantly walking or doing some simple activity numerous times. Now THAT will get u some serious results. Another thing I discovered was yoga. As corny as it may sound it REALLY works and you will see SIGNIFICANT results within a week. Check it out on Yahoo, they have some really good websites on it. But there's 1 thing u HAVE TO GET before u can do any of this, and that's some self confidence. And I know that is so hard to get now, but just work at it. About your mom calling u that, thet was just wrong. Luckily I had my mom supporting me the whole way through, but I think u should sit your mom down and talk to her and tell her working on your weight problem but it'll take awhile and you're really going to need her support the whole way through. Quit comparing yourself to your friends. Everyone is individual in their own way. Nobody is alike, so don't bother comparing yourself. Your beautiful in your own way. What u need to do is make a long term goal, or what u ultimately want to do or reach, then make NUMEROUS short term goals, such as lose 2 lbs a week or cut back, or something like that. ALSO a big help is to drink ALOT of water cause it helps flush all the wastes all of the water out of your body and you'll lose weight faster. Just work up to it. Hey There, I think you are probably a gorgeous girl. It shouldn't matter what other people think about you. I know how you feel. When I was in 4th through 7th grade I had no friends at all not even a boyfriend and it was only because I was fat. My mom would cry because she felt so bad for me. One day I just decided that I had to do something about it. There was no way that I could go on with no friends. So I made myself eat smaller portions. Even though I was so hungry and could've eaten more I didn't. Soon, all the hard work that I did began to pay off. I'm not the absolute skinniest now, but Im not fat. I'm a good enough size now to realize that I can still help myself and I try to emphasize the things I like about myself. I try not to get sad when I see all the skinnier girls at school. Im really sorry that you're mom called you all those names. My best friend doesn't know her father, her mom used to call her names, and she used to be suicidal too.Her mother said if it wasn't for me we wouldve lost her.Together we made ourselves work together because we wanted to be beautiful. You are lucky that you have a boyfriend who cares about you but if he breaks up with you just for the way you look, he isn't worth it. Try being single for a while and just focus on helping yourself and boosting your esteem. Things will get a lot better. Trust me.
