I've been overweight all my life. I guess I do eat alot, but I get so starved if i don't. How do you stop being hungry?

The question is WHAT do you eat? If you say a lot of fatty or sweet food, that's probably why you stay hungry. For once eat a cucumber or an apple, you'd be suprised at how good it tastes. And the best part is that they have less calories than a candy bar. They will also give you more energy than a candy bar, that way you can excersise longer (see how everything goes in a cycle?). Keep the faith.

I drink lots of ice water. Not only does it make you fuller, it burns more calories than regular water because your body has to heat itself back up, which burns more calories. I would recommend eating smaller meals more frequently. That way you don't have such a long wait between meals where you can be tempted.

The best thing to do is drink lots of water and stay active go to the mall or out side for a walk , if you get your mind off of your cravings then you wont have them as long as you dont think about eating.. eat a good breakfeast with all the nutrition you need for the day, drink 16-20 oz of water for lunch and eat a low calorie dinner.. I suggest weight watchers microwave dinners.i weighed 235lbs. now i weigh 180 and i look great and feel great. and even if u losed 10-20 lbs you'll be supprised all the compliments you get from peopel that teased you

I know where you are coming from because I do the same thing and it is hard to control sometimes. I have tried to control it but it is sometimes uncontrolable.

i have the same problem, but the best thing to do is write down how you are feeling in a journal. whenever you get a cravig write it down. you will soon realize when you feel hunger and be able to control those urges..it feels so good to resist the sweets you crave. If you must give in to your cravings eat healthy!!

Want a good snack food but VERY healthy that will fill you up and is good in the summer?
Take regular grapes, green or red either ones, take them off the vines, and put them all in the freezer in a zip lock bag. When you get a craving for something sweet just take out the bag and pop a couple. They're really sweet out of the freezer, and you can eat as many as you want. It's a great substitute for all that crap food us big kids eat. Best of all you don't feel guilty after eating them.
