Ht. 4'11", Start: 176 lb, Today: 176 lb (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 120 lb - I just started losing weight and eating healthy. The problem is that I have been getting about 500 calories each day. I figure that it does not matter how many calories you get each day as long as you are getting the fruits, vegetables, grains, proteins, and dairy that you need. I just want a second non-bias opinion

I was going to say. 500 calories isn't enough. like Becca said, 1500 is a healthy intake. The intake does matter because the recommended 1500 cals/day is WITH fruits, vegies, grains, dairy, and the proteins all in one day. How did u get it down to 500 per day? (just wondered)
