Ht. 5'6", Start: 195 lb, Today: 170 lb (BMI %tile: 96), Goal: 140 lb - I should workout everyday to lose weight, right? Or three days a week? A lot of running magazines say 3 times a week for beginners.

You can start out with one day a week, and then progressively add more days! But don't run three days in a row, you need to give your body a break.
