Ht. 5'7", Start: 170 lb, Today: 170 lb (BMI %tile: 93), Goal: 130 lb - I am a 14 year old girl who just started High School. I am going to a different High School and from what I see all the girls are smaller than me, not like genetics small but like fitness small. I feel so upset with myself. I noticed that I was a little over weight before, but not like this. I really need motivation to get me to work out, I always talk myself out of it and I want to learn how to stop doing that. Thanks.

what i have learned with expirience is that, if you have a pair of headphones a music player a phone or something of that sort, a little music can go a long way and help you to get motivated. a quick run or walk for a half hour or more can go a long way. and after you do it, you will feel a lot better. get on your running shoes, tie up your hair and just get outside. after that, (which i think is the hardest part for me) you can begin by walking around your neighborhood and eventually, you can begin into jog and once your jogging, don't stop, just keep your legs moving and find different roads to run on and different paths.
