Ht. 5'6", Start: 246 lb, Today: 246 lb (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 170 lb - I need help losing weight. I've tried everything. I have heart problems and asthma that don't help this process. My family supports my diet for about 5 days then stops. I need motivation, and I need serious help. I'm so tired of being made fun of all the time. I've been trying and I just can't seem to shed any weight no matter how hard I try.

Hey Haleigh, my start weight was also 246lbs so i know how your feeling. For motivation, i made a list of all the things i would be able to do if i wasnt so big such as: skydive, have a body massage without getting embarresed and look good at prom etc. Having a list made realise how much i was missing out on and me really determined to lose weight. When starting on your diet dont dive straight in. Make a few small changes every week. I simply started having water instead of fizzy drinks, and not having takeaway meals and worked up to going to the gym and exercise classes etc. If you do start all guns blazing you will easily be put off and the diet wont please you, which will lead to you stopping the diet and not losing weight. I wish you the best of luck and if you wont any more info just send me an email at ... i know it's stupid but having someone to talk to on your bad days could help :)

Heres some good tips: DO NOT EAT MCDONALD'S. Trust me, google whats in their chicken nuggets and youll puke. Also eat every 3-4 hours so you wont overeat. Dont eat after 8:30, it messes with your digestion. Ask your parents to make an appointment with your nutritionist or doctor and ask them for help on how to lose weight healthily. DONT make yourself throw up or starve yourself-it does just the opposite. Do excersizes you WANT to do. If you hate sit-ups dont say "Im gonna do 400 situps a day!!" because you wont. Try to do excersize 4/7 days a week and slowly work yourself up. Also studies show that having a partner helps people lose weight so find a partner on this website if your family wont help. For motivation, think about proving all the people who laughed at you and judged you wrong when you finally do it. Its hard work but you can definitely do it!!!

Trust me i understand completly how you feel. Motivation is so hard to find... Especially when your loved ones give up on you. There are a lot of great motivation tips in healthy weightloss school that helped me! I know how you feel... Because I know how to lose weight but the motivation lacks since I've been overweight my whole life. I would also sugest getting an app like lose it on your iPhone iPod or iPad because I log my food and exercise everyday and it helps me stay on track and its right on my phone! Having a weightloss or gym buddy is essential too.. Supporters are definety needed throughout this process. Having a weightloss Buddy helps you to support each other In this journey. Also, I would say to really think about why your losing weight. Like post a picture of your favorite little Bikini on your fridge to temp you away from eating or as the lock screen on your phone to get you to get up and move! Think about what you want out of your weightloss... Of course to be healthy, but if you list all the pros and cons to losing weight you will see what you have to do! Talk to me if you need anything because I need a buddy too
