Ht. 5'2", Start: 150 lb, Today: 150 lb (BMI %tile: 92), Goal: 125 lb - I always knew I was one of the bigger kids in school. Because I am short and chubby. But I never thought it was that bad until I recently hit 150. Now I'm always feeling like crap and lash out on my parents for no apparent reason. And I don't want to tell them that my weight is the reason I'm depressed. I have many friends who eat whatever and whenever they want and don't gain an ounce. It just frustrates me. Is there anyone out there who is feeling this or has triumphed this and can help me!

Taylor that's the same with me one of my friends eats way more than me and is still so skinny! The best way to lose the weight you want to is to do it in small steps make shorter goals to achieve in smaller time periods that way once you reach your goal you become more motivate and try harder to achieve the next one. I set my goals in 5lbs that way when I reach it I feel like I'm doing well. I haven't changed my diet hugely I have just started to eat smaller portion sizes ,snack less and cut out some unhealthy foods doing this I have already lost 6lbs. Just be positive and tell your self you can do it! You could also try and get some support off a friend or family member if you ever need to talk feel free to email me elliecresswell@yahoo.co.uk !
Good luck

I stoped putting sugar in ice tea, even hot chcolate I don't have marshllows so much, like I used to, eating less proced foods will help a lot!! , healthy foods not proced, eat 85% lean meat, whole grains furits and vegtables, drink lots of water.

I don't really know if this will help but just get rid of any processed food. especially the sugary foods (makes you depressed, moody, the list goes on..). Accept your body the way it is. if unlike your friends, you gain pounds easily, remember that most people have the SAME problem. i do too. losing weight is never easy but once you do do it, you become very disciplined in life. try exercising half an hour daily and eat good food. also, what helped me most was reading articles on why bad food is, well, bad. it just constantly reminded me of why i was eating right and changing my food habits.
